Star Rank

The Scouts BSA Star Rank is an important milestone in a Scout’s journey towards becoming an Eagle Scout. This rank signifies a Scout’s growing leadership skills, commitment to service, and dedication to the principles of Scouting. The Star Rank builds upon the foundation laid by the previous ranks, emphasizing the importance of Scout Spirit, merit badges, service hours, leadership, safety, and the Scoutmaster conference. Each requirement is designed to help Scouts develop essential skills, values, and character traits that will serve them well throughout their lives. By earning the Star Rank, Scouts gain valuable experience in planning and organizing activities, working with others, and taking on leadership roles within their troop.
